Miles is a fun loving, intelligent, thoughtful, warm hearted young man, son and brother. In 2018, Miles was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left fibula at the age of 12. After a successful surgery and chemotherapy his cancer has relapsed twice. Miles has undergone subsequent surgeries in his lung and ribs in addition to further chemotherapy regimens and clinical trials. Through God's grace, the thoughtful medical care of MD Anderson and the loving support of family and friends, Miles is doing well now, and continues to battle.
Through it all he has shown strength, calm and has been a real warrior. This is only part of Miles' life though. The rest includes his witty sense of humor, vast intelligence, inquisitive nature and an enjoyment for thrill and racing Go-Karts.
Miles is a testament to a trust in God's plan and a belief that better days are coming will carry you through. He never loses hope and neither should any child.
