A Portrait of Courage: Cheyenne
The original concept behind this video was to tell the story of what it looks like to have osteosarcoma. What emerged through filming was a portrait of extraordinary courage and conviction that OsteoWarrior Cheyenne DeVelasco had through diagnosis, treatment, amputation and clinical trials. There are no new treatments for this disease in over 40 years. Children and young adults are losing their limbs, and too ofter their lives to osteosarcoma. We have to Make It Better.
... Thank you to the DeVelasco Family for your courage, strength and love in sharing your story with us. Video Production by Salty Dog Productions Thank you to Skye Reno, Cleveland Clinic, Pete Anderson, Vanessa Valenti, and Kelsey Bueller. Thank you to the families who shared their OsteoAngels with us; The Woodruff Family, The Peter Family, The Wilson Family, The Westenhofer Family, The Moody Family, The Houghton Family, The Nguyen and Phan Family, The Laupus and Reilly Family, The Huhn Family, The Lehrman Family, The Allen Family, The Mendez Family, The Garcia-Beech Family The Moody Family and The Simons Family. |

July 14, 2017 - AGENT SUPER BROCK
We first 'met' Super Brock when we were making our #JustKeepDancing video for EllenTube. His had us at his sweet moves, and his nurses too! We met Super Brock in real life at our FACTOR Conference in Miami in February 2017, after his left arm amputation. He became BFF's with Dylan another OsteoWarrior and sealed his status as a heart throb - EVERYONE fell in love with Dylan and delighted in he and his new friend's charms.
SuperBrock's first-line treatments failed him. He went on to complete a clinical trial with hope and fortitude. Yesterday, his scans showed new tumors and growth on old ones. We need new hope, prayers and new treatments for Brock and our OsteoWarriors. We need to #FixThis! In the meantime, please #PrayForBrock. We are with you SuperBrock! We will fight harder #BecauseOfBrock. |

FACTOR Conference OsteoWarriors HQ
MIB Agents created the first ever osteosarcoma research conference. It took place in February 2017 in Miami. Alongside the top researchers, doctors and advocates, was the OsteoWarriors HQ. The HQ was the largest gathering of OsteoWarriors ever. For many, it was the first time they met another amputee or limb-salvaged kid. The League of Extraordinary Miami Women, Gigi Jeffries, Joey Chancis, Caryn Lubestsky, Jenine Howard and all their volunteers who made the HQ THE place to be! Thank you ladies for making it awesome for the Warriors!

MIB Agent-In-Charge Ann Graham was featured on The Mighty on September 26, 2016.

The Mighty is not the girl in the photo, rather it is the ones described within the article - the ones who show courage when they are fearful and cheerfulness when they are suffering.
Read about them here. We promise you will be inspired by their strength in the face of the formidable, aggressive, stalking beast, osteosarcoma.

The A2A Alliance is an exceptional organization that honors the knowledge that Making It Better for another is the way to true joy and deliverance from that which tried to defeat you. I was interviewed by Jeff Bell of KCBS Radio last year, who founded this organization. A few months ago, he invited me to be an A2A Advocate. Humbled and honored, I accepted. I believe that your greatest pain leads you to your greatest joy, and even purpose. Such is the case with my having a pediatric cancer at age 43. It was supernaturally painful on every level. It brought me to my purpose, to Make It Better for the kids suffering with cancer, the loss of limbs, and all too often, their life. I believe in A2A's purpose. It is as St. Francis said over 800 years ago: "It is in giving that we receive." For the whole A2A Story, please go to www.A2Aalliance.org. For the bit on MIB Agents, click here.
MISSION: Daniel ACCOMPLISHEDDaniel is a 13-year-old young man with metastatic osteosarcoma (bone cancer). He has endured many painful and dangerous medical treatments and trials. Still, his wit and humor remain intact. This was obvious when he recently returned to his middle school (as a new amputee) wearing a shirt asking, "What are you looking at you two-legged freak." Our mission for Daniel was to replace his very out-of-date computer that was not able to come along with him to the hospital for treatments and video-game playing. Our Cracker Jack Team of Agents responded to the call once again and delivered a new, beautiful, game-ready laptop! Thank you Agents! May the Force Be With You Daniel.
