Be the "I" in MIB

With the collective contributions in science, patient support, donations, and time, we know our osteosarcoma community understands that you have to be the change you wish to see in the world. We encourage you to Be the "I" in MIB this month to Make It Better for osteosarcoma patients and families.

- Submit an abstract to present at FACTOR 2024 - due January 12th, 2024

- Apply for an OutSmarting Osteosarcoma research grant - due January 26, 2024

- Donate to MIB on Giving Tuesday - November 28th

- Become a Writer Agent and spread love, hope, and cheer to OsteoWarriors

November is Pet Cancer Awareness month and since nearly 10,000 dogs in are diagnosed with osteosarcoma each year in the US, we know we need to Make It Better for our dog companions too. Research in dogs will also help lead to better treatment for kids. We have just published a Canine Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials resource on our site to help direct canine patients and their families to cutting-edge treatments that will advance our understanding of osteosarcoma.

Wishing you and your families a restful Thanksgiving. We are grateful always for all this community gives to Make It Better with us.

With hope,

Ann

Join Our Team of Superhero Writer Agents!

From Jaden's mom: “Jaden continues to enjoy his Warrior Mail. We look at it together sometimes, and it’s truly amazing what others will do to bring a smile to my son’s face. The small details make the mail so special! Please send our thanks and appreciation to all our warrior mail friends!”

Each month our Superhero Writer Agents send cards and letters to our brave Osteo Warriors. We email a list of Warrior Intel on each of our young warriors to our Writer Agents. A couple of weeks later, we receive their messages of love and support to Warrior Mail HQ. We then sort and ship packages to each Warrior who look forward to receiving the monthly package topped off with small gifts and treats from MIB! Once you sign up to be a Writer Agent, you will receive a link to the Warrior Mail Handbook and our invitation to join the MIB Agent Writer FaceBook page.

The Holiday 2023 Warrior Mail schedule is as follows:

Intel emailed to Writer Agents:  November 19th

Deadline for delivery to your local P.O. for mailing to Warrior Mail HQ:  December 4th!
Departure of Priority Mail Packages from MIB HQ to Warriors: December 11th

Thank you and all of the volunteers for making the Warrior Mail so special!
