Buddy is the most strong, resilient, sweet and empathetic young boy who we are proud to call our son. He has been bravely battling Osteosarcoma since he was just 5 years old which now at the age of 10 means he's been fighting for his survival for half his lifetime. Buddy has endured over a dozen surgeries including 4 complex lung surgeries and a life changing amputation below the knee. Buddy has relapsed several times and has endured years of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, experimental therapy and not to mention hundreds of clinic visits and arm pokes along the way. No child should have to go through this and we truly hope that we can find a cure soon for this very dreadful disease that is rare....until you get it. Buddy loves playing video games with his friends and playing golf. Most of all he loves playing with his chocolate lab Coconut who has been an amazing source of healing.
