There’s a lot to look forward to across the MIB community as we head into summer. This month, we’re highlighting Ryan Roberts, MD, PhD, from Nationwide Children’s Hospital, who reflects on the impact of FACTOR and the strength of bringing the osteosarcoma community together. We’re also taking a look at this year’s FACTOR scientific panels, highlighting the research and discussions shaping what’s ahead. TURBO returns on May 13, bringing together a global panel of osteosarcoma experts. May 20th is Clinical Trials Day, and we are excited to introduce a new clinical trials resource on our website to help patients and families better navigate options. We hope to see you next month at FACTOR!
With hope,
The MIB Agents team

This month, we’re spotlighting Ryan Roberts, MD, PhD, from Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. As his home city prepares to host FACTOR, he shares what makes the meeting such a special and inspiring gathering, why bringing the full osteosarcoma community together matters, and how that shared commitment continues to fuel progress.

At FACTOR, our Scientific Panels bring together researchers, clinicians, and members of the osteosarcoma community to share updates on research and clinical care. These conversations create space for learning, questions, and connection, bringing science and the lived experiences of patients and families into the same room. Together, they strengthen the link between research and real-world impact in osteosarcoma.
If you have a job posting and you would like it included here, please email christina@mibagents.org.

If you’re managing a patient with relapsed osteosarcoma and want additional perspectives on treatment strategies or clinical trial options, consider presenting the case at MIB Agents TURBO (Tumor Review Board for Osteosarcoma). TURBO meets via Zoom every two months, bringing together a global panel of osteosarcoma experts to review complex cases, exchange insights, and discuss emerging data. It’s a collegial, multidisciplinary forum designed to support clinical decision-making for challenging cases. This educational forum is for medical professionals only; patients and families are welcome to ask their oncologists to present a case on their behalf. Our next meeting is May 13th at 5p ET.
Join TURBO to request an invite or submit a case.
